About Me
I value authenticity, hard work, and communication. I try to bring these values into my work, and business. My goal at each shoot is to capture the joy and personality of each of my clients. I want you to leave with beautiful photos and memories that will last you a lifetime. I strive to create a comfortable, fun, and engaging environment wherever the shoot takes us. Out in a field? Yes, please! The woods? Absolutely! A stream or lake? Let's go! Your home or backyard? It would be my honor!
I want to get to know my clients and communicate openly and honestly. Tell me your hopes and visions for your shoot! Tell me about what motivates and drives you forward! I want to capture what makes you, who you and your family, significant other, or pet should you choose to bring them! I cannot wait to connect and begin making memories!
My Approach
I have one goal at the forefront of every shoot that I do: to have fun! I want you to feel comfortable and confident to be who you are and enjoy the picture-taking process.
This looks a little bit different depending on what kind of shoot we are doing. For families with small children, I often will bring silly headbands or toys to get a genuine laugh from everyone involved. For shoots that include animals, I always have treats and noise makers. I often will bring an extra person with me or coach my client's animal "wrangler" on how to keep their attention. For senior shoots, I ask that they bring a couple of items that embody who they are and make them into fun props!
